Exterior: A Complete Makeover
The 2022 Kia Sportage is based on Kia’s, ‘Opposites United’, a new design language that can be seen in their new offerings. The 2022 Kia Sportage’s exteriorincludes an aggressive front fascia with its iconic ‘Tiger Nose Grille’ theme. The same theme can be seen in the Kia Sonet. The new matrix LED headlights, boomerang-shaped LED DRLs, and the new razor lights at the rear are connected by a horizontal design to give a broader look.
Overseas, it gets an option to choose a dual-tone trim that is being offered on the Kia Sportage for the first time. In the international spec, the 2022 Kia Sportage gets an integrated rear spoiler for better aerodynamics and a sporty bumper that gives the SUV a premium look. Coming to the tyres, it gets an aerodynamically friendly rim. The new Kia Sportage runs on 17-inch, 18-inch or 19-inch wheels offered in alloys and dual-tone alloys, depending upon the variant chosen. Interior: A plush Cabin

Under the Bonnet: The Powerhouse
In international markets, the Kia Sportage engine specifications include a 1.6-litre T-GDI turbo-diesel engine that churns out 177hp and 265Nm of torque. It can be paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission. The 2.0-litre diesel engine, on the other hand, produces 183hp and 416Nm of torque. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The 2022 Kia Sportage will take on the likes of the Hyundai Tucson, Jeep Compass, Tata Safari, Citroen C5 Aircross, and the Volkswagen Tiguan, to name a few.
